Membership Affiliation Rights and Privileges
The membership affiliation with ICS is a recognition of the applicant's achievement with commitment to the practice and application of knowledge and skills in business and management. It gives affiliates a chance to establish valuable contacts with other members, exchange ideas and information, and represent issues of common concern at web-based forums.
From time to time, affiliates is entitled to a whole range of management services and development activities directed towards enhancing their professional managerial skills. These include:
Every affiliate will be entitled to receive a Certificate signifying his/her commitment to the practice and application of knowledge and skills in business and management.
Every affiliate will be entitled to use the membership title by placing it after his/her name in abbreviated form, stated in accordance with his/her grade of membership affiliation, namely, Affiliate designated as AICS and Fellow Affiliate designated as FICS.
Every affiliate will be entitled to attend and participate in the online discussions and other such online activities as may be organized by ICS in its website from time to time.
Information regarding e-learning programs, e-marketing, e-books, e-library, e-opportunities and other activities may be provided or conducted at ICS' website from time to time.
Preferencial rate will be given to affiliates who may wish to register for the ICS' collaborative programs to be noted at ICS' website from time to time.
Membership Affiliation Duties and Responsibilities
Every affiliate will be liable to follow, in his/her conduct in participating in any of ICS' activities to carry himself/herself out as a professional and will also make a genuine attempt to foster the non-provoking standard laid down by ICS in dealing with fellow affiliates.
Every affiliate shall conduct himself/herself so as to preserve ICS' reputation and image, and shall not misuse the name of ICS or indicate that he/she is a member of ICS or imply that the relationship with himself/herself with ICS is an equity shareholder, other than to designate himself/herself as AFFILIATE of ICS without any membership or shareholding interest in ICS.
Every affiliate so admitted to any grade of affiliation, will be liable to pay the appropriate annual affiliation maintenance fee, until he/she shall have signified in writing (email) to ICS of his/her desire to resign as affiliate, having previously paid all the arrears including the current year's affiliation maintenance fee.
If any member will leave his/her affiliation maintenance fee in arear for one year and will fail to pay such arrears within three months after a notice has been sent by email to him/her by ICS, his/her name will be removed from the list of affiliates and shall be posted in the ICS' website accordingly.
